ESD Protection: Operators must wear anti-static gloves or wrist straps when handling EFON circuit boards or sensitive modules.

Professional Installation: For industrial-grade equipment (e.g., EFON Data Storage Units or Monitoring Systems), installation must be performed by a certified technician.

Step-by-Step Installation

Step 1: Unboxing & Inspection

Remove the device from the packaging.

Check against the packing list to ensure all accessories (screws, brackets, power adapters) are present.

Do not use the device if there is visible damage.

Step 2: Environment Requirements

Temperature: Operating range 0°C to 45°C (32°F to 113°F).

Ventilation: Ensure at least 10cm clearance on both sides for heat dissipation.

Mounting: For rack-mounted units, use the provided rails and secure with M6 screws.

Step 3: Physical Connection

Cabling: Connect input/output cables according to the port labeling.

Power: Plug the certified power cord into a grounded surge protector.

Step 4: Software Configuration (If applicable)

Follow the on-screen wizard to set network parameters (IP Address, Subnet Mask).

Step 5: Verification Test

Power on the device. Check if the LED indicator shows solid green (Normal).

Run a diagnostic test via the management interface.
